Integrated Entomological Surveillance: Technical Tools and Community Engagement through Serious Games
From the 8th to the 11th of June, the IRD will dispense a training on integrated entomological surveillance in Montpellier, France.
Coordinated by Florence Fournet (Scientific coordinator of the OneHealthSecure Medical Entomology component, IRD) and Hanna Emlein (Project manager of the OneHealthSecure Medical Entomology component, IRD), this course will allow the participants to strengthen their capacities to analyze and use entomological data for surveillance to support public health decision-making. The training also includes a hands-on module on the use of citizen science tools to learn to promote collective actions.
This course, divided into three days of training on entomological surveillance systems and one day on community engagement through serious games, will bring together a total of 22 participants representing 16 different countries.
