Launch of First OneHealhSecure GIS Course
The first OH-Secure basic GIS course starts on September 22nd for 18 participants, selected for equal country representation and interdisciplinary One Health collaboration.
The OHS GIS training program consists of five 6-month cycles. Each cycle involves a stepwise progression from a basic to a medium GIS course, both combining introductory workshops with eight-week distance learning, culminating in certificates. Advanced participants then submit One Health project proposals, with the best selected for internships or online support. At the end of this first
course participants will receive a certificate and will be capable of producing their own thematic map to include
in professional reports.
As a next step, participants which will successfully completed the basic course will be invited to join the medium
level GIS course.
